Saint John Police are looking for a new Chief to take over policing duties in Saint John for one (1) day; however, only those between the ages of 5-12 will be considered for the role.
The ‘Chief for a Day’ contest is being held as part of National Police Week: May 11-17, 2025, and is open to Saint John area students.
To enter, we are looking for you to provide a short, one-page example for the following question:
Tell us about your hero and the positive impact they have on your life.
The new Chief will have the opportunity to spend the day at Saint John Police Headquarters and check out some really cool things. A great day has been planned for our new Chief.
Please send your entry, along with your name, to sjpfchiefsoffice@saintjohn.ca with a subject line: Chief for a Day or you can mail or drop off a copy to Police Headquarters at 1 Peel Plaza, Saint John, NB E2L 0E1. Also make sure to have a parent, guardian or caregiver complete the below information.
