The Saint John Police is pleased to announce that 6-year-old Sophia Lord was the winner of the 2024 Chief for a Day contest.

Sophia enjoys helping others. Like any good police officer, she is dedicated to keeping things safe and orderly, whether it is helping her teacher clean up after things get messy, sharing toys with her cousin, or books with her brother.

Members of the Saint John Police were proud to serve under Chief Lord during her special visit on June 20, 2024. Her energy and passion was contagious as she toured through our Police Headquarters and got a unique perspective on what it is to be a difference maker with the Saint John Police.
