Holiday in a Box is an annual campaign started in 2021 spearheaded by the Saint John Police in partnership with the Five Priority Neighbourhoods in Saint John.

The goal is to give some holiday cheer to the less fortunate adults in our community who are often forgotten during this time of year.

We collect as many shoeboxes as possible filled with necessities and small gifts from Saint Johners and beyond.

The boxes are dropped off at our headquarters where our staff wrap them and turn them back over to representatives from the Five Priority Neighbourhoods to distribute in mid-December.

2021 – 467 boxes collected and distributed.

2022 – 675 boxes and 200 gift cards collected and distributed.

2023 – 575 boxes collected and 65 gift cards collected and distributed.
