In cases of emergency or to report a crime in progress, please call 911.
Online Crime Reporting (OCR)
Citizens can file a report online for incidents that are not an emergency and not in progress such as theft, damage to property, lost or missing property, driving complaints and submitting a tip. This service is available 24/7 and there is no need to visit, call or wait for police. A police officer will review your report and you will be contacted, if required. You will be provided a reference number that can be used for insurance purposes. You can report online if:
- The value of the property is under $5000.00;
- There are no known suspects; and,
- The incident occurred in Saint John.

Non-emergency line
In non-emergency cases, citizens can file a report by contacting the police at 506-648-3333. An officer may be dispatched to take the report in person or the officer may contact you by telephone.
