Aggressive Driving Campaign – June 2 to 5, 2026

Share:

In an effort to enhance road safety and reduce the incidence of aggressive driving in our community, the Saint John Police will once again be conducting an Aggressive Driving Campaign on June 2 to 5, 2026. The goal is to deter aggressive driving behaviours and hold accountable those who put others at risk.

The Saint John Police would like to remind motorist to:

  • Follow the speed limit.
  • Be patient and minimize lane changes.
  • Use turn signals.
  • Allow other drivers to merge or change lanes.
  • Avoid distractions when driving.
  • Maintain adequate following distance.
  • Slow down for construction zones and comply with the posted signs.

Through education and enforcement, the Quick Reaction Team and Traffic Management Officers will increase efforts targeting aggressive driving behaviours that endanger other persons or property such as speeding, tailgating, unsafe lane changes, disobeying traffic control devices, and driving without due care and attention.

Together a safe, secure, healthy community
