The Saint John Police Major Crime Unit are appealing for witnesses to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.
It is alleged that:
On Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at approximately 6:43 p.m., a grey Jeep Wrangler turning left onto Cindy Lee Street from Bonita Avenue collided with a 61-year-old woman on Cindy Lee Street near the intersection.
The 61-year-old woman sustained serious injuries. She was transported to and remains in hospital. No other physical injuries were reported.
Officers spoke with the driver of the vehicle at the scene and canvassed the area for witnesses and video surveillance. Forensic Services attended and processed the scene.
Detectives are still appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area that has dash-cam or video footage of the incident at the time it occurred.
