Arrest in Commercial Break and Enter – Union Street

The Saint John Police have arrested a 46-year-old man in connection with a break and enter in the Waterloo Village area.

It is reported that:

On Thursday, December 7, 2023, at approximately 4:32 a.m., officers responded to report of a break and enter at a restaurant in the 200-block of Union Street.

On arrival, police discovered that the business had been broken into and a quantity of Canadian currency had allegedly been stolen.

Officers canvassed the area for video surveillance and identified a suspect.

On December 11, 2023, the 46-year-old suspect was arrested for break and enter and later released from custody on an undertaking with conditions including to appear in court on February 19, 2024.
