Arrest in Robbery Investigation – McAllister Drive

The Saint John Police have arrested a male age 33 in connection with a robbery in the area of McAllister Drive Saint John. 

It is reported that: 

On April 16, 2025, at approximately 2:00 p.m., the suspect approached a vehicle at a local drive thru attempting to gain entry. 

The suspect then assaulted a male in the parking lot and made further attempts to enter other vehicles. 

The suspect then proceeds to an adjacent establishment and approached another vehicle in the drive thru. The driver was assaulted; bystanders intervened to assist the driver. The suspect stole the vehicle and left the scene.  

Patrol members through investigation were able to locate the stolen vehicle on the west side of Saint John. A short time later the suspect was arrested. The suspect remains in custody and will be appearing in court this morning. 

Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area that has dash-cam or video surveillance of the incident at the time it occurred. 

Victims are recovering from their physical injuries sustained from the assault.
