Arrest made in Fraud, Sexual Assault Investigation

Members of the Saint John Police have arrested a 46-year-old man following a lengthy investigation into Fraud, Uttering Forged Documents and Sexual Assault.

It is reported that:

In May 2023, an individual called the police saying that the accused was offering private “rape defense classes” as a Code White/Krav Maga instructor and given the circumstances surrounding this training, the individual became suspicious that there was some type of fraud taking place. A short time later another individual came forward to file a complaint about the accused claiming that they felt they were sexually assaulted during this training.

The investigation, led by members of the Saint John Police Family Protection Unit, assisted by members of the Major Crime Unit, Forensic Identification Services, Patrol Services and the Digital Forensic Services of the RCMP, resulted in the execution of a Search Warrant on the residence and vehicles of the accused on May 16, 2024, where the accused was arrested for Fraud (X2), Uttering Forged documents (X7) and Sexual Assault (x2). The accused is scheduled to appear in Court on January 09, 2025.
