Arrest made on an Out-of-Province Warrant

Saint John Police Patrol officers have arrested a 33-year-old male wanted on an arrest warrant out of Quebec.  

On Monday, June 30, 2025, Saint John Police received information from the New Richmond PQ, Surete du Quebec that a warrant of arrest for an individual had been extended to the province of New Brunswick. The arrest warrant was in relation to an alleged intimate partner violence incident. 

Information received was that the suspect was within the area of Saint John and an address was provided.  

Saint John Police were able to locate and arrest the individual without incident.  

The warrant was executed, and the male was remanded into custody and is awaiting transportation to Quebec.  

Police agencies continue to work together in locating and arresting individuals. The Saint John Police recognize the lasting impact on victims of intimate partner violence and the importance of arresting those that commit such crimes.
