Arrests in Drug Investigation

The Saint John Police Street Crime Integrated Enforcement Unit (I.E.U.) have arrested 3 individuals in an ongoing drug investigation.

It is reported that:

On Friday, July 19, 2024, investigators executed 2 search warrants at different locations in Saint John and arrested 3 individuals.

As a result of the searches, the following evidence was seized:

-Two electronic money counters
-Fentanyl (33.50 grams)
-Hydromorphone (18 x 3mg pills)
-Cocaine (12.78 grams)
-$17,746.50 in Canadian Currency

A 56-year-old woman was released from custody on an undertaking to appear in court on September 26, 2024. She is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl, possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and proceeds of crime under $5000.

A 28-year-old woman was released from custody on an undertaking to appear in court on September 26, 2024. She is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl, possession for the purpose of trafficking hydromorphone, proceeds of crime over $5000.

A 29-year-old man was released from custody on an undertaking to appear in court on September 26, 2024. He is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl, possession for the purpose of trafficking hydromorphone, possession of cocaine and proceeds of crime over $5000.
