Arrests in Drug Trafficking Investigation

The Saint John Police Street Crime Integrated Enforcement Unit (IEU) have made arrests in a drug trafficking investigation.  

On February 6, 2026, at approximately 9:03 p.m., IEU arrested 32-year-old Kimberley Jones and 27-year-old Nicholas Barrett-Proctor from a vehicle for possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and weapons offences. Search warrants were authorized and executed at the pair’s residence.   

The following was seized by police including, but not limited to: 

1645 grams of a substance believed to be cocaine 

26 grams of an unknown pink powder substance 

21 pills believed to be Oxycodone 

$1170 in Canadian currency 

2 sets of digital scales 

Several 45 caliber and 9mm ammunition 

Loaded Glock 26 fifth generation handgun 

Cell phones 

A carton of contraband tobacco 

The total approximate street value of seized drugs is $165,526.00. 

Barrett-Proctor and Jones both appeared in provincial court on February 7, 2026, and were held in custody. Their next scheduled court appearance for a bail hearing will be this afternoon. 

The Integrated Enforcement Unit consists of police officers from the Saint John Police, Kennebecasis Regional Police Force, New Brunswick Justice and Public Safety, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
