Arrests in Drug Trafficking Investigation – Project Fusion

The Saint John Police Street Crime Integrated Enforcement Unit (I.E.U.) along with the Kennebecasis Police Force have made an arrest in an on-going drug trafficking investigation, Project Fusion.  

Project Fusion began this month and focused on the trafficking of Fentanyl.  

On Thursday, July 27, 2023, a Saint John man, aged 31 and a Quispamsis woman, aged 37, were arrested for trafficking related charges.  

A quantity Fentanyl with a street value of $25,000.00 was seized. 

The 2 accused have been released with a court date in October. 

The Integrated Enforcement Unit (I.E.U.) currently consists of officers from the Saint John Police, Kennebecasis Regional Police Force, New Brunswick Justice and Public Safety and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
