It is reported that:

On Saturday, October 14, 2023, at approximately 5:24 p.m., officers responded to a report that a school bus allegedly stolen from the St. Stephen area was spotted on the west side of Saint John. Officers subsequently located the bus in a parking lot on Dever Road and arrested a 27-year-old man found in the bus for possession of stolen property, theft of a motor vehicle, and breach of probation. At that time, he was released from custody to appear in court at a later date.

On Sunday, October 15, 2023, at approximately 1:00 a.m., a 2017 white Chevrolet Silverado 2500 was allegedly stolen from a business on Fairville Boulevard. On Monday, October 16, 2023, at approximately 7:20 p.m., as a result of a tip, officers located the stolen truck in a parking lot on Church Avenue in Saint John. The same 27-year-old man was then arrested in possession of the stolen truck and held in custody. The accused has been remanded to jail and is scheduled to return to court on Thursday, October 19, 2023, for a bail hearing.
