Arson Investigation Frederick Street

The Saint John Police are seeking the public’s assistance in an arson investigation.

It is reported that:

On Saturday, October 26, 2024, at approximately 7:49 p.m., the Saint John Police responded to a report of a structure fire in the 40-block of Frederick Street.

Upon arrival, police discovered that there were damages to the back door where the suspect would have gained access. The fire was quickly extinguished by the Fire Department. It was observed that multiple vehicles within the structure were damaged.

No one was injured; however, the fire caused considerable damage to the building and vehicles within.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area that has dash-cam or video surveillance of the incident at the time it occurred.
