Arson Investigation Queen Street

The Saint John Police are seeking the public’s assistance in an arson investigation. 

It is reported that: 

On Saturday, May 03, 2025, at approximately 10:28 p.m., the Saint John Police responded to a report of an explosion in the 70-block of Queen Street, uptown. 

Upon arrival, police discovered an active fire.  

Individuals were seen running from the apartment building after the explosion. 

No one was injured; however, the explosion caused considerable damage to the building. 

Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area that has dash-cam or video surveillance of the incident at the time it occurred.
