The Saint John Police are seeking the public’s assistance in an arson investigation.
It is reported that:
On Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at approximately 5:15 a.m., the Saint John Police responded to a report of a structure fire in the 100-block of Union Street.
Upon arrival, police discovered that the wood on the side of the building was on fire. The fire was quickly extinguished by the first responding officer before it had a chance to spread any further.
No one was injured; however, the fire caused considerable damage to the side of the building.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area that has dash-cam or video surveillance of the incident at the time it occurred.
