The Saint John Police are seeking information to identify three teenage suspects involved in an assault on a Saint John Transit driver.
It is alleged that:
On Saturday, February 17, 2024, at approximately 10:36 p.m., officers responded to an assault on a bus driver on King Street in Uptown Saint John.
It was alleged that:
-the driver was dropping off three riders described as teenagers; two females and a male. One suspect was wearing a red hoody, blue pants, and a backpack. Another had long curly hair and another was wearing their hair up in a bun.
-after exiting the front of the bus, the male sprayed a chemical irritant into the bus.
The suspects left on foot but were not located at this time.
The driver was treated at the scene by EMS and no other physical injuries were reported.
Officers interviewed the driver and witnesses on the bus.
The investigation is ongoing.
