Break, Enter, and Theft Investigation

The Saint John Police are seeking information in connection with a break, enter and theft of tools in the uptown area.

It is alleged that:

On or between September 20, 2024, and September 22, 2024, a break and enter occurred at a business located in the 100-block of Prince Edward Street.

A significant number of Dewalt and Milwaukee tools were taken from the location, with the total value exceeding $10,000. Below is an itemized list of the stolen tools:

  • 2 5 amp batteries with chargers 

  • 2 Dewalt 2 amp batteries charger 

  • Dewalt light 

  • Dewalt multi tool 

  • Dewalt impact and drill 

  • Dewalt jig saw 

  • Dewalt blower 

  • Dewalt cordless Brad Nailer 

  • Dewalt skill saw 

  • 3 Dewalt tool bags 

  • Tool box with tape measure, pry bar, hammers, snips, mini screwdriver set, finish nails, speed square, screwdriver set, nail punches, Allen keys, chalk line 

  • 18 gauge Brad Nailer 

  • One extension cord 50 feet with split and one regular extension cord 25 feet 

  • Milwaukee 2 x impact drill 

  • Milwaukee drill 

  • Milwaukee reciprocating saw 

  • Milwaukee skill saw 

  • Lincoln 140 Welder 

  • Milwaukee jig saw 

  • Milwaukee rotary saw 

  • Milwaukee palm sander 

  • Various hand tools, including cutters, hammers, levels, squares, rack guides 

  • Milwaukee oscillator tool 

  • Milwaukee grinder 

  • Brad nail gun 

  • Milwaukee M12 fuel 12 v brushless 

  • Milwaukee M18 fuel table saw 

  • Milwaukee M18 cordless wet/dry vacuum 

  • Milwaukee M18 fuel 10 inch, dual bevel, sliding compound

Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area that has dash-cam or video surveillance of the incident at the time it occurred.
