Canada-wide Warrant Daniel Burton, 34

The Saint John Police is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Daniel Burton, 34 who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.  

It is reported that: 

On February 9, 2026, a warrant was issued for Daniel Burton for breaching the conditions of his statutory release as he failed to return to Parrtown Community Correctional Centre in Saint John. 

Burton is a second-time federal offender currently serving a sentence of eight years, six months, and 26 days for Robbery – All Others/Armed Robbery, Disguise with Intent, Forcible Confinement, Assault with a Weapon, Possess/Use/Traffic Stolen/Forged/Falsified Credit Card, Motor Vehicle Theft, Fail to Attend Court – Judge’s Order (x2), Fail to Comply with Conditions of Undertaking/Recognizance (x3), Break Enter and Commit – Not Dwelling House, and Theft Under $5,000. 

Burton is described as 5’11”, 159 lbs, brown hair, brown eyes, and a dark beard. He was last seen wearing a black winter coat, black pants, a red and black ballcap and red sneakers (as seen in the photo above). He has tribal tattoos on both upper arms, “Burton” on his right forearm, and “Ryleigh” on his left forearm.
