On Thursday, July 04, 2024, the accused was arrested in Fredericton and remains in custody.

The Saint John Police is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Vincent CURRIE who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
It is reported that:
On June 27, 2024, a warrant was issued for breaching the conditions of his statutory release. It is alleged that he was in possession of and consumed a controlled substance.
CURRIE is described as 5’8”, 200 lbs, brown hair, and hazel eyes. He has a tribal tattoo on his right calf and a “Nicole” tattoo on his right upper arm.
Vincent Currie is a 42-year-old serving a 6-year, 7-month and 18-day sentence for convictions of; Robbery, Failure to Comply with Probation Order (x2), Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5000, Possession of a Weapon Contrary to Prohibition Order, Unauthorized Possession of Firearm, Unauthorized Possession of Firearm Prohibited/Restricted Weapon in a Motor Vehicle, Careless Use/Storage of Firearm and Offence under Moter Vehicle Act -NB
