Chief for a Day 2024

Share:

Saint John Police are looking for a new Chief to take over policing duties in Saint John for one (1) day. However, only those between the ages of 5-12 will be considered for the role.

The ‘Chief for a Day’ contest is being held as part of National Police Week: May 12-18, 2024, and is open to Saint John area students. To enter, we are looking for you to answer the following question (essay format / one page in length):

Part of being a Saint John Police Officer requires you to be a Difference Maker. Being a Difference Maker includes being able to offer a “Hand Up” to a friend, a classmate, or a family member when they are down.

How have you made a difference in someone’s life by offering a Hand Up?

The new Chief will have the opportunity to spend the day at Saint John Police Headquarters and check out some really cools things. A great day has been planned for our new Chief.
