Chief Robert Bruce, on behalf of the Saint John Police, is pleased to announce that 12-year-old Favour Ayoade is the winner of the 2025 Chief for a Day contest.
Favour thinks of her hero as someone she looks up to and who makes her life better; for her, this is her mom. Her mom teaches her very important qualities such as bravery, honesty, and kindness. These are also qualities that are required to be a good police officer. Favour feels proud of who she is becoming as a person and strives to one day be as strong and kind as her mom.
“We are excited to host Favour as our Chief for the day. Her heart-warming description of her hero reminds us all of what a real hero should aspire to be.” Chief R.M. Bruce
The Saint John Police will be proud to serve under Chief Ayoade when she visits Peel Plaza for a day next month.
We would like to thank all students who entered this year’s contest.
