Share:

File: 23-2142

The Saint John Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle involved in a Hit and Run collision.

It is reported that:

On Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at approximately 11:20 am, a Hit and Run collision occurred on Duke Street in Uptown Saint John.

The collision involved a black SUV Volkswagen that was stuck by another vehicle (seen in the picture) then fled the scene.  The SUV was parked on Duke Street and the other vehicle that Police are attempting to identify, continued Westbound down Duke Street, turned left onto Canterbury Street, and then right onto Saint James Street.

Because the SUV was unattended, there were no physical injuries.  It is believed that there would be substantial damaged to the front end of the vehicle that struck the unattended vehicle.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses, dash-cam video, video of the incident, or anyone who recognizes the vehicle in the picture.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Saint John Police Force at 1-506-648-3333 and reference file 23-2142 or if you wish to remain anonymous, contact Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or 1-800-222-T.I.P.S.
