The Saint John Police are seeking information from the public following mischief to the beaver pond fountain in the Loyalist Burial Grounds.
It is reported that:
On Thursday, September 12, 2024, at approximately 11:00 a.m., the Saint John Police responded to a report of mischief in Loyalist Burial Grounds.
Graffiti was discovered on the concrete wall and adjacent to the pond, along with multiple handprints and green paint stains on the fountain.
It is believed that the damage had occurred sometime overnight.
An increase in this type of occurrence has been noticed over the past number of weeks by police and community members.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area that has video footage or surveillance of the incident or suspect(s) at the time it occurred.
