File: 23-1708

The Saint John Police is seeking information in connection with an incident of mischief at Rockwood Park.

It is alleged that:

On Saturday, March 18, 2023, between 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., a cyclist was riding downhill on a trail in Rockwood Park.

The cyclist struck a thin wire that was suspended at head level across the trail.

The cyclist was wearing a helmet with a face guard and, therefore, was not injured.

Police are concerned that this act of mischief could have resulted in serious injury had the level of protective equipment not been worn by the cyclist.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Saint John Police Force at 1-506-648-3333, or if you wish to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or 1-800-222-T.I.P.S.
