The Saint John Police are requesting the public’s assistance in a hit-and-run investigation.
It is reported that:
On Thursday, April 16, 2026, at approximately 1:00 a.m., police responded to the intersection of City Road and Brinley Street for a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.
One individual was transported to hospital and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect vehicle is believed to be a white car.
The collision remains under investigation by the Major Crime Unit.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area that has dash-cam or video surveillance of the incident at the time it occurred.
