Motor Vehicle Collision Somerset Street

The Saint John Police are requesting the public’s assistance in a hit-and-run investigation.
It is alleged that:
On Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at approximately 8:05 p.m., police responded to the 100-block of Somerset Street for a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.
One individual was transported to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Witnesses in the area observed the collision and advised that the suspect vehicle was a dark coloured sedan.
The collision remains under investigation.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area that has dash-cam or video surveillance of the incident at the time it occurred.
