The Saint John Police celebrates the significant impact that volunteers have on our community. We would like to thank those volunteers who contribute to serving the community through the Saint John Police:
Our Victim Services team members provide 24/7 critical support for those impacted by traumatic events in their life. These dedicated and selfless individuals volunteer their time to be available at a moment’s notice in times of crisis.
Auxiliary Police Officers volunteer their time by providing operational support to our frontline members in patrol services and support us with various community events and initiatives.
Our Peer Support team members volunteer their time to ensure that the mental health and wellness of our own officers and support staff are never forgotten. They constantly check in with our members and provide support, particularly after responding to traumatic events.
Our friends at the Saint John Police Museum volunteer their time to honour and share the rich history of the Saint John Police Force as one of the oldest police forces in Canada.
And, of course, we recognize our current and retired members and staff that have volunteered countless hours of their own time to make Saint John a better place to live and play.
“When you look at the strength of communities across this great country, the ones that have been impacted by volunteers are those committed to making the community better, stronger, and more compassionate. These are the communities like ours who can boast about the tremendous selfless service of their volunteers. They make a real and special difference.” Chief R.M. Bruce
Please join us in showing appreciation for the empathy, compassion and generosity of all volunteers who work to make our community stronger.
Together a safe, secure, healthy community.
