The Saint John Police are pleased to announce the launch of our new website and Online Crime Reporting (OCR).
Those who live, work, and visit Saint John can now file a report online for incidents that are not an emergency and not in progress such as theft, damage to property, lost or missing property, driving complaints and submitting a tip. This service is available 24/7 and there is no need to visit, call or wait for police. A police officer will review your report and you will be contacted, if required. You will be provided a reference number that can be used for insurance purposes. You can report online if:
- The value of the property is under $5000.00;
- There are no known suspects; and,
- The incident occurred in Saint John.
In addition, probation officers, correctional officers, loss prevention officers, gas stations and Crime Stoppers can also report crimes and tips online.
“Although our officers are always available 24/7 to respond in person or by phone, this is yet another convenient option for those who live, work, and visit Saint John to file a report with the Saint John Police” Chief R.M. Bruce
