Police Operation – Drugs and Weapons Investigation

On Thursday, May 09, 2024, at approximately 10:50 a.m., the Saint John Police executed a search warrant on a residence in the North End of Saint John.

It is reported that:

The search warrant was executed by the Street Crime Integrated Enforcement Unit with the assistance of Emergency Tactical Services.

The residence was searched, and a quantity of drugs was subsequently seized from the location. The drugs seized from the location consisted of 14.7 grams of Cocaine and a total of 2.88 grams of Crack.

A 31-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman were taken into custody. They were both charged for possession for the purpose of trafficking Cocaine and released to appear in court on August 15, 2024.

The integrated Enforcement Unit (I.E.U) currently consists of officers from the Saint John Police, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Kennebecasis Regional Police Force, and New Brunswick Justice and Public Safety.
