Police seeking public assistance in a series of mischief investigations

The Saint John Police are seeking information from the public in connection with damage caused to properties and vehicles in the North End of Saint John.

It is alleged that:

Between the evening of January 6, 2023, and the morning of January 8, 2023, a number of properties and vehicles were damaged in the North End of Saint John.

It is believed that the following incidents are related and caused by a BB gun:

  • 24-170: January 7, 2023, 7:00 p.m. to January 8, 2023, 7:00 a.m. – 50-block of Newman Street – Toyota Corolla – damage to windows
  • 24-165: January 7, 2023, 9:03 p.m. – 100-block of Pugsley Avenue – damage to house/ window
  • 24-162: January 7, 2023, 6:00 p.m. to 6:32 p.m. – 30-block of Douglas Street – Toyota Corolla and Dodge Caravan – damage to windows
  • 24-161: January 7, 2023, 5:47 p.m. – 160-block of Victoria Street – damage to house/ window (believed the shots were fired from the direction of Lorne School)
  • 24-160: January 7, 2023, 5:31 p.m. – 10-block of Newman Street – Mitsubishi RVR – damage to windshield
  • 24-155: January 6-7, 2023, 11:42 a.m. – 1st-block of Brunswick Place – damage to house/ window

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area that has dash-cam, video surveillance, and/ or video footage of the incidents/ suspect(s) at the time it occurred.
