The Saint John Police Major Crime Unit have arrested a 41-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman for robbery in connection with this investigation.
On January 18, 2024, the 48-year-old woman was arrested and subsequently released from custody on an undertaking to return to court on April 8, 2024.
On January 23, 2024, the 41-year-old man was arrested and held in custody. On January 25, 2024, he appeared in court charged with robbery and disguise with intent. He was released from custody to return to court on February 22, 2024.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call police.

Police seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect – robbery investigation
The Saint John Police Major Crime Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in a robbery investigation.
It is alleged that:
On Thursday, January 4, 2024, at approximately 9:39 p.m., a lone male suspect entered a convenience store in the 1500-block of Loch Lomond Road armed with a weapon.
The suspect demanded money and left the store with a quantity of Canadian currency.
Officers responded and searched the area with the assistance of K9; however, the suspect was not located.
No physical injuries were reported.
Forensic Services were called to process the scene. The Major Crime Unit is investigating.
