The Saint John Police are investigating a shooting in the Reading Crescent area in East Saint John.
It is reported that:
In the early hours of April 10, 2023, at approximately 2:00 am, the Saint John Police responded to an apartment complex at Reading Crescent in the East side of Saint John in response to a call about a 46-year-old man alleging that he had sustained an injury from a shooting that occurred inside the apartment complex.
The suspect has been described as a thin, Caucasian male, approximately 5’9”, long dark beard, black ball cap, wearing a what was described as a “high visibility” vest and being between 30-35 years old.
The 46-year-old victim was transported to and remains in hospital at this time.
No further information is available at this time, the Major Crime Unit continues to investigate.
