The Saint John Police are investigating following a report of stabbing in the 10-block of Sydney St.
It is reported that:
On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at approximately 11:10 p.m., the Saint John Police responded to a report of a stabbing in 10-block of Sydney St (Loyalist Burial Grounds).
Officers located the 62-year-old man who had sustained serious injuries in the Waterloo Street area. He was transported to the hospital to be treated for what is believed to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The Saint John Police Major Crime Unit has taken over the investigation. Detectives believe that this is an isolated incident. At this time, no arrests have been made.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area that has dash-cam or video surveillance of the incident at the time it occurred.
