On Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at approximately 6:41 p.m., the Saint John Police Force responded to a call from a member of the public reporting a stolen vehicle.
It is reported that:
A white Dodge Ram was parked in the 20-block of Egbert Street. The owner believes that it was taken at approximately 6:00 p.m. and advised that the vehicle was equipped with a GPS tracker.
Information provided by the tracker led Patrol Officers to the area of Frederick Street, where the vehicle was recovered without damages.
A member of the Forensic Identification Section was called to collect evidence from the vehicle.
Officers continue to investigate this matter and are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area that has dash-cam or video surveillance of the incident at the time it occurred.
