On Monday, March 6, 2023, at approximately 10:00 pm., a citizen called police reporting they located what they believed to be the stolen loader abandoned at the end of Doyles Lane in Saint John. Police attended the scene and confirmed it was the stolen loader.
Forensic Services were called to process the loader for evidence and it was then turned back over to the owner.
The loader was initially spotted at the of Doyles Lane on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at approximately 11:00 a.m.

The Saint John Police are investigating the theft of a CAT 908 loader from a parking lot in the 900-block of Grandview Avenue.
It is alleged that:
On Sunday, March 5, 2023, a CAT 908 loader, New Brunswick license plate # T24731, was stolen from a parking lot in the 900-block of Grandview Avenue.
The stolen loader is shown in the photograph.
The Major Crime Unit is investigating.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area that has dash-cam or video surveillance of the incident at the time it occurred.
