On Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at approximately 1:18 p.m., the Saint John Police were called to Princess Street after a motorized wheelchair had been found abandoned in an alleyway. Police confirmed that it was the wheelchair previously reported stolen. The wheelchair has since been returned to the owner.
At this time, no charges have been laid. Police continue to seek any information in connection with the theft of this wheelchair.

The Saint John Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a stolen motorized wheelchair.
It is alleged that:
Between the hours of 11:00 pm on March 28, 2023, and 3:00 am on March 29, a motorized wheelchair was stolen from the 200-block of Pitt Street in Uptown Saint John.
The stolen item is described as a 2019 Quantum wheelchair with a red body, black seat with a joystick control similar to the photograph attached.
Police are seeking witnesses, video or anyone with information about the whereabouts of this motorized wheelchair.
