The Saint John Police are seeking witnesses and information in connection with a stolen vehicle investigation.
It is alleged that:
On Saturday, June 17, 2023, at approximately 3:24 a.m., a 2022 black Volkswagen Atlas was stolen from the 200-block of Douglas Avenue.
At approximately 6:33 a.m., emergency personnel responded to Dominion Park Beach when a passerby found the SUV partly submerged in the water. No one was inside the vehicle and no injuries were reported.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area that has dash-cam or video surveillance of the incident at the time it occurred.
