The Saint John Police Major Crime Unit are investigating the sudden death of a 51-year-old man.
It is reported that:
On Saturday, December 16, 2023, at approximately 8:22 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call that a man had sustained gunshot injuries at a residence in the 500-block of Pleasant Street West.
On arrival, police found a 51-year-old man deceased in the residence.
The Major Crime Unit, Forensic Services, and the Coroner’s office were called to investigate. An autopsy and investigation will be conducted to determine the cause and manner of death.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone with video surveillance that captures Pleasant Street West.
