The Saint John Police and the Saint John Fire Department are conducting a joint investigation in connection with a suspicious fire at an apartment building on Coburg Street in Saint John.
It is reported that:
On Monday, May 15, 2023, at approximately 11:11 a.m., emergency crews responded to a structure fire at an apartment building in the 50-block of Coburg Street.
The Saint John Fire Department worked to control and extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported; however, there was significant damage to the building and residents were displaced.
The Fire Investigator and Forensic Services were called to the scene.
The Saint John Police Major Crime Unit and Saint John Fire Department are investigating the fire as suspicious.
