Suspicious Fire Investigation – Westfield Road

The Saint John Police, in conjunction with the Saint John Fire Department, are investigating a suspicious residential fire.

It is reported that:

On Thursday, May 11, 2023, at approximately 4:18 a.m., emergency crews responded to a structure fire at a residence in the 3000-block of Westfield Road.

Upon arrival, the home was engulfed in flames and resulted in a total loss. No injuries were reported.

The Saint John Police Major Crime Unit, Forensic Services and the Saint John Fire Department are investigating the fire as suspicious in nature.

The photographs shown depict a suspicious person caught on security surveillance on the property during the early morning hours of May 10 and May 11, 2023.
