Since early March 2025, 34-year-old Brandon Saia and 28-year-old Kendra Voutt, who were on parole went unlawfully at large from community residential facilities in the Halifax region. As a result, Canada-wide warrants were issued for their arrest.
Members of the Saint John Police Street Crime Integrated Enforcement Unit (I.E.U.) received information that Saia and Voutt were possibly together in the Saint John area. On May 20, 2025, the I.E.U. arrested Saia and Voutt without incident and they were returned to their respective Federal institution.
The I.E.U. consists of officers from the Saint John Police, Kennebecasis Regional Police Force, New Brunswick Justice and Public Safety and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Their mandate is to target drug trafficking, weapons, and organized crime offences.
Together a safe, secure, healthy community.
