(UPDATE) Community Engagement: Quick Reaction Team

The Saint John Police are pleased to share a progress update on the continued work of our Community Engagement Quick Reaction Team (QRT) who have been making an impactful difference in our community since the four members began their efforts this year. 

The following are some of the measurable accomplishments of the QRT from March to end of August 2025: 

  • 121 Foot patrols 

  • 108 Arrests 

  • 126 Files generated 

  • 261 Traffic stops 

  • 124 Citations issued 

The QRT will continue to be proactive in enhancing visibility, familiarity, and enforcement activity as well as, in conjunction with other members, be reactive to specific community needs and issues that arise. 

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the residents and businesses in the uptown business district and Waterloo village area for their on-going support and partnership.
