The Saint John Police All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) unit is a part-time unit that is an incredibly valuable resource for patrolling in areas that are difficult to access for traditional police vehicles, such as wooded or mountainous areas.

The ATV unit also has the ability to traverse difficult terrain and access areas that are otherwise inaccessible. ATVs are cost-effective and can be used in a variety of settings, from off-road vehicle enforcement, to search and rescue missions and tactical operations.
