The Saint John Police Records Department is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of critical records and documents. This includes the filing, archiving, and retrieval of all records related to criminal investigations, criminal records, and other police activities.

The department also maintains records of evidence, court documents, warrants, and other legal documents. In addition, the Records Department is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and security of all records and documents, and for providing support to other departments within the police force.
