Arrest in Robbery Investigation – Union Street

The Saint John Police have arrested a 34-year-old man in connection with a robbery investigation.  

It is alleged that: 

On Saturday, May 10, 2025, at approximately 8:28 p.m., a man was talking on his phone when he was approached by the suspect on Union Street.  

The suspect assaulted the male and took his cell phone. 

The victim went to a nearby business where he called police and was able to provide a description of the suspect. 

Police located and arrested the suspect within close proximity to where the incident occurred. 

The victim sustained minor physical injuries.  

The accused appeared in court May 12, 2025, for a bail hearing, charged with Robbery.
