Every day the members of the Saint John Police strive to provide professional policing services to those who live, work, and visit the city, by engaging the community, upholding the law, and preserving public safety. 

If you have had a positive experience with one of our members or if one of our employees went above and beyond your expectations, please let us know by completing this short form. Your compliment will be submitted to the Chief of Police and shared with the employee, their supervisor, and peers. Your feedback helps us know what we are doing well and can have a significant impact on our members.

 

Complaints
Every day the members of the Saint John Police strive to provide professional policing services to those who live, work, and visit the city, by engaging the community, upholding the law, and preserving public safety. 

We take great pride in maintaining public trust and confidence with the community we serve. Our members are held to the highest standard of professionalism. Our officers are governed by the New Brunswick Police Act, which outlines the role of a police officer and how they are expected to conduct themselves. 

If you have a complaint about a member of the Saint John Police or our service, you may:

  • Contact the on-duty Station Supervisor in person at our Headquarters at 1 Peel Plaza, Saint John, NB or by phone at 506-648-3333.
  • Contact the Saint John Police Office of Professional Standards at 506-648-3271.
  • Submit a formal complaint directly to the New Brunswick Police Commission (NBPC) by visiting ComplaintForm.pdf (nbpolicecommission.ca). NBPC complaint forms are also available in person at our Headquarters at 1 Peel Plaza, Saint John, NB.
