The Saint John Police Training Unit is designed to equip police officers of all ranks and levels with the necessary skills and knowledge they need to be effective in their duties. It is responsible for the coordination of all internal and external training.

This includes refresher courses to keep officers up to date on the ever-changing laws and regulations related to law enforcement as well as specialized training that officers require to fulfill their specialized roles and responsibilities.

The goal of the Training Unit is to ensure that all police officers are prepared to handle any situation they may encounter in the line of duty.
