Arrest in Attempted Murder Investigation Broadview Avenue

The Saint John Police have arrested a male in an attempted murder investigation.  

It is reported that: 

On Thursday, October 09, 2025, at approximately 06:41 a.m., the Saint John Police responded to a 911 at a residence on Broadview Avenue.  

Police arrived at the scene and located a 45-year-old female with serious injuries. Emergency personnel immediately helped the female, and she was subsequently transported to hospital. The victim remains in hospital in stable condition. 

Based on the information gathered by police at the time of the incident, it was determined to be an isolated incident. The accuse and victim were known to each other.  

The Major Crime Unit and Forensic Services Unit were called to investigate. 

On October 15, 2025, as a result of the ongoing investigation police have arrested a 26-year-old male, who will appear in Provincial Court this morning charged with attempted murder.
