Saturday, March 8, 2025, is International Women’s Day, a day to recognize and celebrate the achievements of women around the world, and to recognize the tremendous contributions they have made in every area of life.

This year’s theme is “Accelerate Action” which emphasizes the urgent need to speed up progress towards gender equality. It is a yearly call to action for everyone to step forward in solidarity and make a tangible impact on women’s advancement worldwide.

At the Saint John Police, we understand the importance of gender equality and the empowerment of women. We must continue to strive towards a world where women are safe and respected.

“Our female members embody resilience, innovation, dedication, and commitment to excellence. Their contributions drive our success while inspiring everyone to strive for greater heights. The Saint John Police are proud and honoured to be part of an environment where everyone’s talents are recognized, their voices are heard, and their potential is fully realized. Together, we celebrate their achievements and support their journey towards even greater accomplishments.” Chief R. M. Bruce

Together a safe, secure, healthy community
